Texprofin was founded a year ago and despite Covid our engineers have been working hard to convert ideas into a state-of-the-art towel folder! The result is a major breakthrough in the way towels and other full dry articles will be folded and above that, a huge step towards a revolution in the finishing area of industrial laundries.
A first part of our innovative solution, the folder, is being tested under various conditions in our factory.
A quick recap of our objectives .....
Industrial laundries have been looking for full automation in their towel folding area but so far, no adequate solution has been developed. Existing systems have low hourly throughput, low article versatility, at a relatively high cost and with a substantial footprint.
To solve this our objective is twofold; first the development of the fastest and most accurate & reliable towel folder of the industry. Secondly the development of a fully automated, handsfree feeding system for these towel folders. It wouldn’t make any sense to have a high speed feeder coupled to a towel folder, unable to achieve a high througput and constant high quality. Hence our two-sided approach !
